IRAN, CHINA REACH NEAR $ 7B QUARTERLY NON-OIL TRADE

The value of non-oil trade between Iran and China stood at $6.939 billion during the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21), according to the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).Foroud Asgari said that China was Iran’s top non-oil export destination in the mentioned three-month period, importing $3.511 billion of goods from Iran. IRAN, ENERGY MINISTER AFFIRMS SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION IN PROGRESS COUNTRYWIDE  

Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi said the ministry is currently installing solar panel equipment at one thousand sites to have more solar power plants across the country.Aliabadi stated on the sidelines of a weekly government meeting on Wednesday that, “The people are assisting in managing electricity consumption; I witness this, and right now we are consuming less electricity compared to last year. This indicates that the people are helping,” ISNA reported. IRAN’S NON-OIL EXPORTS NEAR $11.7B IN Q1

Iran exported $11.655 billion worth of non-oil goods in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21–June 21), according to Faroud Asgari, deputy economy minister and head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).The volume of non-oil exports stood at 34.476 million tons, representing a 9.3 percent decrease in weight and a 14.4 percent drop in value compared to the same period last year. IRAN RISES TO 9TH PLACE AMONG GLOBAL STEEL PRODUCERS: WSA

Iran has moved up to ninth place among the world’s top steel producers, surpassing Brazil, according to the latest report by the World Steel Association. IRAN’S OIL EXPORTS TO CHINA HIT RECORD HIGH IN JUNE

China’s imports of Iranian crude reached an all-time high in June 2025, according to data from tanker tracking firms, highlighting Tehran’s growing footprint in the world’s largest oil market despite U.S. sanctions.Data from analytics firm Vortexa showed that Chinese imports of Iranian oil averaged 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) between June 1 and 20, marking the highest volume ever recorded in the history of bilateral oil trade between the two countries. ENERGY MINISTER OPENS 100 MW SOLAR POWER PLANT IN MARKAZI PROVINCE 

Iran’s Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi inaugurated on Monday a 100 MW solar power plant in Mahallat in Markazi Province as part of the government’s push to enhance use of green energy.Aliabadi stressed that the project saves 160 million cubic meters of gas per year.The energy minister also launched the executive operations for the construction of two solar power plants in Saveh in Markazi Province, which included the 250 MW solar plant at Kaveh Methanol Company and the 550 MW plant at Shahid Hossein Hamedani Petropars Iran Company.
